Year 2 of Pin Headz – 2021

The second year of Pin Headz issues (2021 #13-24) are now posted on the website.

2021 was a weird year. We didn’t have tournaments for the first part of the year due to covid. I was running pinball trivia tournaments on Twitch to give people something to do while they continued to hunker down at home. I also hosted general trivia and some specialty games like Pac-Man trivia, as well as playing games on Twitch including: virtual pinball, Tetris 99 and my favorite Pac-Man 99 (RIP).

The first local “post-covid” non-ifpa tournament was Arcade Legacy’s Ghost Town Showdown at the old Forest Fair Mall mall location (RIP, not just the location but the entire mall is gone). That tournament happened on February 18th, Matty “ICE” Gauslin won. IFPA sanctioned tournaments didn’t happen until August of 2021.

The first real Pin Headz Stickers were printed in January of 2021.

And there was the regular features, locations, tournament recaps, upcoming tournaments. I also wasted more toner writing about deeproot (RIP). Ugh. For more info on the fall of deeproot check out this article from Pinball News.
